Nay Wa Mitego, a Free Nation 966 serial hitmaker and heavyweight Hip Hop recording artist from Tanzania, has returned with a new song titled Kudada Deki.
The latest track “Kudada Deki” is also from East African performer Nay Wa Mitego. The subject of the song is a man who is attempting to win back his ex-girlfriend after she moved on.
Emmanuel Elibariki, better known by his stage name Nay Wa Mitego, is a Tanzanian hip hop artist, rapper, and songwriter. He was born on December 1985 in Mwanza, Tanzania.
Nay Wa Mitego began his music career in the early 2000s and gained prominence with his hit single “Mikono Juu,” which became popular in Tanzania and beyond. He has since released several other popular songs, including “Salamu Zao,” “Pale Kati Patamu,” and “Alisema.”
Nay Wa Mitego’s music often focuses on social issues and political commentary, and he has been recognized for his contribution to raising awareness of important issues in Tanzania. In 2017, he was briefly arrested for his song “Wapo,” which was seen as critical of the government. The arrest sparked a national conversation about freedom of speech and artistic expression in Tanzania.
In addition to his music career, Nay Wa Mitego has also acted in several movies and TV series, including “Family,” “Mheshimiwa,” and “Huba.” He has won several awards for his music, including Best Hip Hop Artist at the 2015 Tanzania Music Awards.
